By installing the SecureAuditWP plugin or using this website, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully — they govern what you can do with the software and what we promise (and don't).
1. License
The SecureAuditWP plugin is licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later (GPL-2.0+). You may use, modify, and redistribute the plugin in accordance with that license. The full license text ships with the plugin.
The "SecureAuditWP" name, logo, and brand assets are trademarks of the operator and are not covered by the GPL.
2. Free and Pro plans
The free plan covers a single WordPress site and includes core auditing features. The Pro plan adds multi-site support, malware-aware scanning, white-label reports, and priority support. Pro features are unlocked via a license key tied to your billing account.
3. Authorization to scan
You may only run SecureAuditWP against WordPress sites you own or have explicit, written authorization to test. Running the plugin against systems without authorization may violate computer-misuse laws in your jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to audit any site on which you install the plugin.
4. AI provider usage
SecureAuditWP requires an API key from a supported AI provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google AI Studio). You are responsible for:
- Maintaining a valid account with your chosen provider
- Any usage costs incurred when audits run
- Complying with that provider's terms of service and acceptable use policies
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use SecureAuditWP to:
- Scan, probe, or audit systems without authorization
- Develop or distribute malware, exploit kits, or attack tools
- Circumvent security controls on systems you do not own
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
6. Refunds
Pro subscriptions come with a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you're not satisfied, email billing@secureauditwp.com within 30 days of your initial purchase for a full refund. Renewals after the initial term are non-refundable but can be cancelled at any time to prevent future charges.
7. Disclaimer of warranty
SECUREAUDITWP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. While we work hard to surface real security issues, no automated audit can guarantee a site is fully secure. You remain responsible for the security posture of any site you operate.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SecureAuditWP and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the software, including but not limited to loss of data, lost profits, or service interruption.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to Pro features if you breach these terms, attempt to defraud us, or use the service to harm others. The free, GPL-licensed plugin remains yours to use under the terms of the GPL.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
11. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version. Material changes will be notified to active Pro customers by email.
